Tesco launched its Christmas campaign on TV last night with an advert that tops off a year of celebrations to mark its 100th anniversary.
The grocer said its Back To The Future-influenced ad (see below) is intended to highlight its role of “delivering Christmas to the nation for the past 100 years”.
The campaign will also include a raft of new posters and 10-second adverts which will feature on digital platforms and highlight new products in Tesco’s Christmas range.
The ad follows the launch of big-budget campaigns from other retailers, including Asda, Sainsbury’s, M&S, and Waitrose.
