Waitrose has revealed that has entered into a new product supply agreement with Kuwait-based supermarket group, City Centre.
Around one hundred Waitrose & Partners own label products are now available in all six City Centre stores, including selections from the Waitrose Duchy Organic, essential Waitrose, Waitrose & Partners Free From and Waitrose 1 ranges.
Waitrose said that it expects coffee and peanut butter to be among the most popular items with Kuwaiti shoppers, who will also be able to choose from its teas, coffees, confectionery, jams, cereals and a range of oils, soups, pastas and sauces.
The retailer stated that it was the first time its brand has been offered overseas since its ‘& Partners’ rebrand in September last year.
