Logistics firm Wincanton will continue to manage the storage and distribution of wines and spirits for Waitrose after signing a three-year contract renewal with the retailer.
Wincanton’s HMRC-approved bonded warehouse facility in Greenford, London, will coordinate the distribution of around 12.5m cases of wines and spirits for the retailer every year. The operation will serve Waitrose’s network of stores, as well as its online Waitrose Cellar unit.
