Caterforce Recruits New Member

Caterforce has recruited another new member to its foodservice-orientated buying & marketing group, taking the membership total to nine.

Dunsters Farm will join the group on 1 July having previously been part of the Confex buying group.

The family-run wholesaler has been trading since 1963 as an independent supplier of chilled and ambient foods, supplying schools, hospitals, care homes, and hospitality outlets across the North from a purpose-built site in Bury, Greater Manchester.

“As a well-established family-run business, Dunsters Farm is a perfect addition to our membership,” said Gary Mullineux, Caterforce Managing Director.

“Forward-thinking and progressive, Dunsters Farm combines a modern business with traditional family values and its ambitious plans for growth align perfectly with ours. We’re delighted the Dunsters Farm team has chosen Caterforce to support it in its next phase of development.”

Hannah Barlow, Managing Director of Dunsters Farm, added: “Caterforce has an excellent knowledge of the market and we’re proud to be joining forces with such a well-respected buying group.

“Just like us, the group has ambitious growth targets and we are delighted to be joining members who all exhibit best practice in our industry. We are keen to utilise Caterforce’s buying expertise to strengthen our position and increase the range we offer our customers, including hundreds of key frozen lines which has been one of our priorities for 2021.”
