National Buying Consortium (NBC), the member-owned buying group that launched in 2019, has attracted six new members: Precision Wholesale, Prime Cash & Carry, Global Brand Supplies, Tastebuds, Good-One Deals, and Bada Business.
The group stated that the new members have joined because they believe that NBC is an alternative to other buying groups that delivers what it promises – “access to great brands, at great prices, facilitated by a wholly owned central warehousing and logistics function”.
David Lunt, NBC’s Managing Director, commented: “It is great to see that these businesses share our own vision and values, and as we grow, we hope that this will deliver further incremental benefits to the group, its members, and its shareholders.
“As the industry faces its own challenges, and particularly through consolidation, we fully believe that by working collaboratively with our members and our suppliers we will continue our journey and be the alternative buying group for those that find working with us a real benefit”.
