Foodservice wholesaler Thomas Ridley has strengthened its sales and e-commerce teams with two new appointments.
Paul Knight has joined the business as Sales Director after a 30-year career spent mainly working for Bidfood and latterly as MD of Bidvest’s Catering Equipment Division for 15 years.
Damien Barrett, Thomas Ridley’s Managing Director, said: “This has been a really tough year, but we are now able to put our business plans into action and activate key initiatives to move Thomas Ridley forward. This is a great time to welcome Paul to the business and elevate our sales department with his expert skills and industry knowledge. We are delighted to have him on board.”
Thomas Ridley adapted its business model during the pandemic, with e-commerce becoming a key area for growth. To support further development, the group has appointed Adam Caddy as E-Commerce Manager. He has joined the business with a 14-year career in e-commerce and digital marketing.
Barrett concluded: “Paul and Adam are fantastic appointments to the Thomas Ridley team and their wealth of experience in their respective fields will empower us to deliver our future plans and the next steps for our business.”
